Our jams

Kanika Jam is a home enterprise. All procedures are conducted by hand.

Jars are thoroughly washed and boiled for 15mn. The jars are vacuum sealed. Fruit are washed, hand peeled and cut with hygienic concern in mind. All our jams are handmade with care by our cook Chhoy Srey, in the village of Takhmao (50 km away from Phnom Penh).

100% Asian

Kanika Jam favours local farmers products, we only use fresh fruits which are washed with bottled water ; our fruits come from Cambodia, Vietnam or Thailand. No colouring or preservatives or artificial flavours are added.

The packaging

Our jams and the packaging are environmentally and socially oriented. Because we aim at providing jobs to those in need, the wicker baskets and kramas (scarves) are hand woven by Cambodian women in their villages. They have been designed to be convenient, useful and in respect of the Khmer tradition.
